...to Mount Zion No. 9, a duly-constituted lodge of Free & Accepted Masons in Mount Vernon, Ohio. We are a fraternal organization, dedicated to "making good men better." Mount Zion is chartered by the Grand Lodge of Ohio.
Stated meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.

Brethren,
Following is an update from our stated meeting and of upcoming activities.At our stated meeting on April 2nd Bro. Dean Hudepohl was presented with his certificate for his Endowed Membership. He makes the 34th endowed member of Mt. Zion. Bro. Richard Ogle gave back his MM exam in fine order. (Note: This is 7 days since he was raised.) The master called the Lodge to recess and Bro. Ogle's wife and family surprised him when they presented him with his father's Masonic ring.
The minutes of the 5 meetings in March were read. One new petition was read and assigned an investigating committee. Also, the investigating committee reported favorably on Mathew Tripp for membership. He was approved by ballot and Master Jacks set Wednesday, April 15th at 7 PM for his EA degree.
A new Bicentennial committee was appointed to prepare for our 200 anniversary year. John Price, Doug Brenneman, Larry Bertiaux, Paul Phillips, Art Crim. John Zale. The team will meet Wednesday, April 8 at 7:30 PM.
